Frequently asked questions
What is white clipping?
White clipping makes different bright shades merge into the same white, removing highlight detail.
Does brightness fix clipping?
Not necessarily. Contrast, picture mode, signal range, and HDR settings may be involved.
Can this test measure HDR?
No. It is an SDR browser pattern and does not measure HDR luminance or tone mapping.
